Important: S1 pupils – A reminder to Miss Macfarlane’s 1.4 class that you are SWIMMING TOMORROW, THURSDAY 18TH APRIL.  Please register at the pool, not at PE.                                                                                                                                                                                             Boxercise starts up again and NEW Dodgeball club:  The new block of boxercise will start on Wednesday 17th April at 4pm in the dance studio. Initially the cost will be £20 for the first 5 week block up to 15th May. This will be reviewed at the end of the first block and if the numbers are sufficient the cost will able to be reduced.

There will be a new S1-3 Dodgeball club starting up next Thursday afternoon 25th April from 3-4pm in the sports hall. For information and to put your name down on the list please come to PE.

Helpers required for Primary School Cross Country Tuesday 23rd April at Haughton Park:  We are looking for helpers from S3 upwards to act as marshals for the Active Schools Cross Country Series on Tuesday 23rd April in Haughton Park. S5 pupils who have been involved in the sports leadership sessions on Friday and all the pupils who took part in “I Can Lead” could use this as part of their volunteering hours. The event runs from 4.15pm and we would need helpers to come down to the park for 3.30pm to be briefed and take up their positions. Please come along and register your interest at PE this week.

S3 Junior Ranger Programme 2019:

Are you interested in finding out about the Cairngorms National Park, Learning about the work of Countryside Rangers, Nature conservation and enjoy Outdoor activities? Then this programme is for YOU!  The 5 day Ranger programme takes place this year on May 13th – 17th.

The week is free of charge and pupils will be out of school during school hours for the entire week.  What is it?

The 5 day programme involves:

– Visits and talks

– Conservation tasks

– Outdoor activities

– Sharing experiences with friends and family

– Achieving the John Muir Discovery Award

– Graduating as a Cairngorms National Park Junior Ranger

Robotic Club:  Due to senior pupils exams the Robotics Club will not run until further notice.
