Daily Bulletin – Wednesday 25 September

National Fitness Day: Wednesday 25th September 2019: National Fitness Day brings the nation together to remind us why it’s so good to move, highlighting the role that physical activity plays in helping us lead healthier, happier lives. The aim of the day is to spark a national conversation about all of the benefits of physical activity.  Being more active is not only proven to improve our physical health, it also has an incredible effect on our mental health, our confidence and development, our social connections and our communities.

On Wednesday: think of how you can increase your physical movement and activity, e.g. try a new sport, find an alternative way to travel to school (cycle, park and stride etc), during break and lunch explore our outdoor spaces.

On Thursday: In your classrooms engage in conversations and tasks with staff and peers on the benefits of physical activity and how it positively impacts on physical, mental, social and emotional wellbeing and you can take part in the press-up challenge that is taking place in the foyer at 1.30pm to raise money for Mental Health Aberdeen (£1 per entry and a prize to be won!)

Plan for your future by taking care of your health today!
