Daily Bulletin – Wednesday 13 November

Emergency Closure Drill: There will be an emergency closure drill on Thursday 14 November  between 09:55 and 10:20am. This is where staff and pupils practice what happens if we have to close the whole school during the day and send pupils home – this could be due to severe weather or something like a power cut. Further details will follow but it is really important that all pupils that travel by bus have their bus pass with them every day – all bus passes will be checked on Thursday so please remember to take your pass.

Tomorrow you will hear a tannoy at 09:55 am and all staff and pupils should report to their designated bus rooms where your details will be checked – please take bags and jackets with you. All pupils – village, transported by parents and transported by bus – must check the notices in the school to see what their allocated room will be on Thursday. These notices can be found on the inner doors of the main pupil entrance, beside the 2 revaluation points and on the noticeboard beside SLT offices. Once in your designated rooms, teachers will give you instructions. You are to remain in your designated rooms until the end of P2 and then it’s morning interval as normal.

Book Swap Day – Friday 22nd November: For National Book Swap day you are invited to swap one of your books for a different one. Donations of £1 on the day for a different book would be appreciated with all money going to Scottish Book Trust. If you have any books you wish to donate for the book swap, please hand these into the library before 22nd November.
