Daily Bulletin – Tuesday 4 February
Childrens’ Mental Health Awareness Week
Life often throws challenges our way and 1 in 5 young people experience a mental illness.
Bravery is about:
Finding positive ways to deal with things that might be difficult
Overcoming physical and mental challenges
Looking after yourself.
Look at the positive quotes that are displayed on the plasma screens today and remember
‘when you can’t control what is happening, challenge yourself to control the way you respond to what’s happening.’
All pupils – Numeracy Ambassadors: We are looking to recruit a group of pupils to act as Numeracy Ambassadors around the school. This will involve meeting once a week to plan and carry out activities to help pupils across the school develop their numeracy skills. It is open to any year group, and it does not matter which maths class you are in – anyone and everyone can get involved. If you want to find out more, come to a meeting in Mrs Mathewson’s maths classroom (C1-37) today, Tuesday 4th February at 1.30 to find out more.
