Tuesday 3rd March and Tuesday 10th March 2020
SCILL (SCIO) welcomes Dyslexia Routes founder Sharon Hall who will be running a workshop for parents and professionals in two parts.
The first workshop on Tuesday 3rd March will concentrate on explaining Dyslexia, its characteristics and how it is experienced. Sharon will explain how dyslexia affects learning and how you can support your child. She will also cover sources of help for parents/carers and professionals.
It will be followed by another workshop on Tuesday 10th March which will cover strategies for use at home and school and how to work collaboratively with your child’s school. It is possible to attend just one of the workshops or to attend both if you are able to do so.
This is also an excellent opportunity to meet like minded people and have all those questions answered in a relaxed environment.
The venue will be the Activity Rooms 1 and 2, Hill of Banchory Community Education Centre, Firbrae, AB31 5ZT. Refreshments will be provided.
The cost is £5 per person for one workshop and £7.50 per person if both workshops are booked. Places are limited so please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 07913 326816 to book.
