It is thought that 10% of the UK population have dyspraxia. Dyspraxia symptoms can vary depending on age…. difficulties may become obvious when learning to tie shoelaces, doing up buttons and handwriting and it tends to get picked up and diagnosed between the ages of 7 and 10.
Although this is a challenging condition and presents difficulties for those with it there are many success stories :
Daniel Radcliffe (Actor), David Bailey (Photographer), Richard Branson (Entrepreneur) and Albert Einstein (Scientist) are all dyspraxic but haven’t let it hold them back!
There’s lots more information on the ‘Dyspraxia’ page which is a subpage of ‘Equality and Inclusion’ on our pupil support site which you can access via the tile on the GLOW Launch pad.
