Today, 2 lucky S4 pupils got to make their own Reindeer Chocolate bark to sell to other pupils and staff to raise some money for local charity, DAWGS. Harrison and Lucy were making their chocolate with help from Chloe Lawson, owner of Chloe’s Kitchen.
The pupils had been down to Chloe’s shop on Main Street a couple of times in November to see how her business operates and ask her any questions they had about chocolate-making.
This morning, Harrison and Lucy made their chocolate Reindeer with some edible eyes, an M&M, a cinnamon pretzel and gold dusting before breaking them into pieces of bark.
Pupils can buy a pack of the delicious chocolate bark at the pupil entrance on Tuesdays and Fridays during break and lunch-time. The price of a pack is £1.50 with all money raised going to DAWGS.
A big thank-you to Chloe for helping us so much with this project, we are all really enjoying it!
