Enterprise Project – will be selling their produce at lunchtime today.

From 1.30 – 2pm today handmade epoxy resin keyrings and window hangers will be on sale by the canteen entrance.  Prices £1 or £2.  Come and browse.  Ideal Gifts for Father’s Day or any other occasion.

Fairtrade Bake Sale – Friday 17th June 2022

The Eco and Interact Groups will be running a Fairtrade bake sale at Break and Lunch time – bring your pennies – all proceeds will go to Fairtrade.

There will also be a ‘soak the teacher’ event at lunchtime where you can pay £1 to soak the teacher of your choice from a line-up of volunteers.  Proceeds will go to the Scottish Wildlife Trust.

University of Glasgow Visit

Professor Martin Hendry of the University of Glasgow will be visiting on Friday the 17th of June.

Pupils sitting National 4/5 Physics are reminded to go to the Assembly Hall period 2 on Friday 17th for a presentation about the Artemis space program and the risks associated with human exploration of space.

Pupils sitting Higher Physics will be out of class period 3 on Friday 17th for a discussion about special relativity and cosmology (including dark matter and dark energy).   Room information to follow.

Pupils sitting Advanced Higher Physics will be out of class period 1 on Friday 17th for a chat about general relativity and gravitational waves.   Room information to follow.

Reminder – Please come to Dance Studio at break time or lunch time today to get your kilt outfit fitted.

Art Club – Are you interested in improving your art skills? You can join us at ART CLUB. In Art Club we work as a team and come up with ideas and areas we like to work with artistically, this can be from character design, landscapes, fashion etc or just a ‘hang out’ relaxing spot for those that love to draw. Bring your lunch. Art Club will be re-starting on Tuesday the 21st of June in E1-59 (Mr McCance’s class) @ lunch times, and will carry on weekly. All years and skills welcome (Brought to you by Mila S6)

Anime & Manga Club

If you are interested in Anime or Manga and are looking to find people who share your interest in some of the the artwork and storytelling of Eastern Asia. Then join us on Thursday’s at lunch time in E1-59 (Mr.McCance’s room) Where we can explore the mythology, the stories and learn to draw in styles such as Pokemon, Studio Ghibli, Akira & Ghost in the Shell.
