Fairtrade Fashion Show – *Change of Date*

To all staff and pupils, the Eco-group would like to invite you to attend a fashion show in the Alford Academy Theatre which is now on Monday 20th March 7.00pm until 9.00pm.  A few pupils will be modelling Fairtrade clothing on a catwalk and there will be a chance to buy clothing after the show.  Other Fairtrade products will be available to buy, and hot drinks refreshments will be provided.  There will also be a performance from the school pipe band and there will be displays of Fairtrade information.  The Fairtrade products will be provided by Mid-Formartine Fairtrade Group.  If you would like to attend this event, please purchase tickets via the Humanities Department.  Tickets cost £2 each, with proceeds going to the Fairtrade Foundation Charity.

**MODELS WANTED**

We are looking for volunteers of any age, male and female, to model Fairtrade clothing for our Fairtrade Fashion Show for Fairtrade Fortnight.  The Show will now take place on Monday 20th March at 7.00pm and will require catwalk models to show a range of clothing in front of parents, staff, and pupils.  If you are interested, please put your name forward at the Humanities Department Research Area before Friday 13th February.

S1-3 Lunchtime Drop In

All S1-3 pupils are invited to attend a lunchtime drop in session run by our Mental Health Peer Educators. This is an opportunity for you to socialise and take part in a range of fun activities and is a group for young people delivered by young people.  The sessions will take place every Wednesday lunchtime in D068 from 1.15 – 1.45pm and you are welcome to bring your lunch.
