Online Safety Incidents
As part of our commitment to the highest standards of Online Safety, wherever there is an online safety incident, we will try and learn from this. To this end We keep a log of online safety incidents which can be reviewed by staff and the Digital Learning Group in order to learn from these incidents and further improve the online safety of our school community. A selection of incidents, with any references which would identify one or more individual pupils removed, is included below. The purpose of sharing this information is to demonstrate our commitment and help the whole community learn from any such incident.
Should any serious online safety incidents take palace the following external partners will be involved as appropriate to the circumstances
- Alford Academy SLT
- Aberdeenshire Council (QIO)
- ECS Technology Development Manager
- Other relevant agency
