Daily Bulletin – Wednesday 14 December

Career information:  Police Force: Thinking about joining the Police Force? Police Scotland are recruiting.  They have two recruitment events coming up before Christmas and would encourage anyone thinking of applying to be a police officer to attend.  They have a candidate briefing session on 19 December at 6.00pm at Nelson Street office where officers will explain the recruitment process, the skills and attributes they are looking for in prospective police officers and they will also give tips on how to highlight skills on the application form and in interviews to maximise the chance of passing each stage of the process.  They are also holding a mock fitness test which takes the form of a ‘bleep test’ this week on Thursday (15 Dec) at 5.30pm and also at 6.30pm.
