We are trialling sharing a version of our daily bulletin here on the Blog and on the schools social media sites. It would be really good over the coming weeks to get your feedback on this.
Exams Tuesday: SQA exams are taking place in the Theatre/Drama Studio all day and B1-20 from 09:00-12:05. Please be very quiet going to and from classes particularly to other classrooms in the B block and avoid these areas over break and lunchtime.
Study Areas: Pupils may study in the Dining Area, Library, the tables outside SLT offices and any research areas away from exam rooms.
Library notice: A reminder to pupils who borrowed mystery (wrapped) books during reading week – they are due back this week.
S1-3 Junior Girls Football: A huge congratulations to the S1-3 Junior Girls Football team who played four seven a side matches against Aboyne Academy on Thursday and won all four with an aggregate score of 19-2! These were the first matches the girls have played together as a team since training began a couple of months ago. Fantastic result! If there are any more girls who would like to join the club, please speak to Mr McKinnie.
Rock Wall Club: The next block of rock wall club will start on Tues 24 & Wed 25 May for a 3 week block. If you would like a place please see Mr Cruickshank for a letter ASAP. If you were on the reserve list a letter has been kept for you.
Scotland Vs Iceland Football Trip: Mr McKinnie is looking to run a trip on Friday 3rd of June to watch Scotland Women’s team play against Iceland in a crucial European Championship qualifier at the Falkirk Stadium. Scotland currently has a 100% winning record in the group and they are on course to qualify for next year’s championship. The trip would leave from the school around 2.30pm and return around 1am. If you would be interested please come along to a short meeting at break time today in the Games Hall. This trip will only be viable if there are enough people who would like to go.
