We would like to share with you the opportunity for all current S3, S4 and S5 pupils to apply for a Prefect position commencing this term (please note session 2021/22 S5 Prefects are to reapply for an S6 Prefect position should they wish to continue). This year, we are delighted to offer the Prefect position to new S4 pupils as well as S5/6. An application form can be found below and paper copies will also be available on Tuesday morning. The deadline for applications is end of school day Thursday 9 June.

EASTER STUDY SUPPORT SCHOOL 2022
The e-Sgoil Easter Study Support programme runs between April 7th and April 14th, providing live interactive daytime webinars.
There will be eighty webinar groups covering sixty-six courses, ranging across levels from N4 through to N5, Higher and AH. Each group will meet for three different online sessions.

The SDS (Skills Development Scotland) Results Helpline service, originally scheduled to close on 12 August, will remain open until 28 August.
The helpline will continue to offer support to young people (including school leavers) and their parents and carers for this extended period. Our expert advisers can provide reassurance as well as information and advice on Confirmation and Clearing as well as other options available.

Nescol – Gallowgate and Altens
Following the latest advice issued by the UK and Scottish governments this evening, NESCol can confirm additional measures in relation to Coronavirus (COVID-19).
From 9am on Tuesday (March 17) face to face teaching at the College will be suspended. Alternative methods of delivery are being finalised. Students are not required to attend but premises will remain open to students until Friday (March 20) for those who require access.
Updates and guidance will continue to be provided by email to students and staff, through www.nescol.ac.uk, College social media channels and MyNescol.
Pupils should attend school on Wednesday’s and follow their timetabled classes. Work for college should be carried out in study time and at home.
