Financial Support

Financial Support

Due to the current pandemic we are aware that many families may be experiencing a change in their financial situation and feel that you may find it useful for us to share information about the variety of funding that is available to support you at this time.

Financial Support and Signposting

Tackling Poverty & Inequalities Aberdeenshire are offering financial support and signposting to anyone currently living in Aberdeenshire. They’ll be giving funding directly to individuals and families, currently living in Aberdeenshire who are facing financial difficulty. They can provide financial support with essential household expenses, consumables, and employment support.

You don’t need to be in receipt of benefits to access the fund: it’s there for anyone who needs support and you won’t be asked to prove your income. The process is not intrusive: your dignity and privacy is respected. Here are the steps you need to follow to apply:

Step 1:

Complete an online expression of interest : www.progressindialogue.org.uk/flexible-wellbeing-fund/

If you don’t have access to the internet, or would like support with the form, you can contact them directly by calling: 01356 630349

Step 2:

Your application will be anonymously raised at their weekly funding meeting. This meeting includes reps from Progress in Dialogue, Aberdeenshire Council and Tackling Poverty & Inequalities.

Step 3:

If you’re successful in your request for funding, one of their team will then contact you to discuss payment.

Step 4:

They ask that those supported through the fund take part in a short telephone call or email exchange to let them know how the funding has impacted them.
