Congratulations to Isla in S2, who has won the competition to design a logo for the Faculty of Science.

Below Isla is shown with her winning design, next to her Science teacher Mr Hopwood.

Miss MacRae the Faculty Head of Science said ‘I would like to congratulate Isla on her design that perfectly links Biology, Chemistry and Physics within the Alford Academy crest. It will be used throughout the Faculty on our resources and should be seen for many years to come. We feel it is important to offer our pupils opportunities to demonstrate their creative skills and to contribute to the Faculty in a wide variety of ways’.
