World Mental Health Day
On Sunday 10th October it is World Mental Health Day, today in school staff are wearing yellow to show support for your mental health.
Young minds are promoting the theme of ‘Value the little things’ because it’s the little things in life that can make a big difference to how you feel and how you make others feel. So today take notice of the little things that you value:
The chats you have with friends
The time you spend outside
The things that make you smile
The person that makes you feel confident and happy
If you are struggling with your mental health then please have a chat with your guidance teacher, you can also access support from Kooth and Togetherall.
Age 10 – 18
The Kooth online service is available for all 10-18 year olds across Aberdeenshire, offering anonymous access to self-help articles and tools, community support which is pre-moderated and professional support through drop-in and scheduled sessions with our accredited counsellors and emotional wellbeing practitioners.
An anonymous, safe, online, peer to peer mental health community and self-help support monitored by mental health practitioners 24/7.

Please avoid anything sharp for the boxes for children. This website has more information about what you can put in the boxes:
